Hey! I'm Mark.

Cinematographer. Editor. Photographer.

Growing up in Massachusetts, I found my love for the art of video production and content creation when I was just a child.  I'd take my family's home camcorder and make silly skits with friends.  Then, in my teens, I began making "let's play" gaming videos on YouTube which showed some decent success.  Once I reached high school, I took two video production courses which helped influence my decision to pursue videography as a career.

I attended Bridgewater State University, where I studied Communication Studies, with a concentration in Film, Video, and Media Studies.  During my second semester of my freshman year, I joined a student-ran university marketing team as a videographer.  I created videos that helped promote campus life, events, student spotlights, etc.  As I worked as a student videographer, I was also creating films with my friends as I used to when I was kid.  One of the films that I worked on was entered into Campus Movie Fest, and won Best Story, along with a Prime Video award.  Fast forward to the first semester of my senior year, I was hired to become an official university videographer, where I created content for the university's social media and other marketing platforms.  I finally reached graduation, where the university president included my very own (personal) video in his commencement speech.  I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies that day.

Almost immediately after college, I accepted a position at Beasley Media Group as a video producer.  At Beasley, I had the amazing opportunity to work with countless different companies from all different kinds of industries, published musicians, and Boston's professional athletes from Boston's renowned sports teams.  I eventually got promoted to become Beasley Boston's Video Production Manager, where I managed a small production team to create stunning video content for all of Beasley's digital clients.  Since then, I accepted a job offer at RAVentures to become their Creative Content Manager, where I managed and created photo and video content for all their restaurant and entertainment brands.  During all of this, I've managed my own freelance business, Goodwin Visuals since 2019.
